Trainings & Workshops
Clinical training for therapists working with trauma, attachment, and complex relational systems
Effective therapy doesn’t come from technique alone. It comes from clinical judgment, relational clarity, and a therapist who knows how to think, position themselves, and stay grounded in the work.
My trainings and workshops support therapists working with trauma, attachment wounds, and high-stakes relational dynamics, while also addressing something that often gets ignored: how clinicians develop their voice, shape a sustainable practice, and make intentional decisions about who and how they work.
Training Areas
-
Trainings focused on integrating parts work, Relational Life Therapy, and somatic approaches into couples and relational therapy, particularly when trauma and attachment wounds are active in the system.
Topics may include:
Working with adaptive parts and protective strategies in relationship, not just individually
Using RLT to address power, accountability, and relational patterns alongside trauma work
Incorporating somatic awareness to track activation, shutdown, and repair in real time
Making moment-to-moment clinical decisions that support nervous system regulation for both partners
These trainings move beyond model loyalty and focus on helping therapists think relationally, track what’s happening in the room, and intervene in ways that support both individual safety and relational change.
-
Specialized trainings for clinicians working with couples where partners want different outcomes.
Topics include:
Discernment Counseling structure and clinical application
Trauma-informed discernment practice
Containment and pacing in emotionally charged cases
Common places therapists get pulled off track
Trainings are informed by the updated Discernment Counseling model and focus on applying the work ethically in real clinical contexts.
-
Therapists are often trained in models, but rarely supported in developing how they practice.
These trainings focus on:
Clarifying your clinical stance and voice
Moving from imitation to intentional practice
Making treatment decisions with confidence
Navigating uncertainty without defaulting to overwork
This work is especially helpful for therapists who feel technically skilled but unsure how to fully inhabit their role.
-
Sustainable clinical work requires clarity around money, capacity, and boundaries, not hustle or burnout.
Trainings in this area may include:
Mapping ideal clients and caseload balance
Understanding financial goals without shame
Using tools like the Clinician Calculator to align values and income
Making intentional choices about growth, scale, or specialization
Mapping money attachment patterns
This work supports therapists in building practices that are both ethical and livable.
